Shopify Developer – Remote

A fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced Digital Agency as a Spotify Developer. Here, you’ll have the chance to work on exciting projects and bring your expertise in Shopify Plus, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build, customise, and optimise high-quality e-commerce stores for a diverse range of clients.

Location: Remote
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 DOE


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop, customise, and optimise Shopify Plus stores to meet and exceed client expectations.

  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Implement and enhance Shopify Plus features, including advanced scripting and integrations.

  • Collaborate closely with our design team to translate mockups into fully functional, high-performing Shopify Plus stores.

  • Optimise site performance to ensure fast load times and smooth user experiences.

  • Integrate third-party applications and APIs to expand the functionality of Shopify Plus stores.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure seamless site operation.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify Plus features, best practices, and industry trends.

  • Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for existing Shopify Plus stores.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, particularly with Shopify Plus projects, preferably within a digital agency setting.

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • In-depth knowledge of Liquid, Shopify’s templating language.

  • Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus features, including scripting, automation, and integrations.

  • Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.

  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing your time and tasks effectively.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
