Shopify Developer 

A fantastic opportunity to work with one of our exciting Digital Agencies who specialise in working with Shopify. 

You will be responsible for building, customising, and optimising Shopify Plus stores for a variety of clients. Your expertise in Shopify Plus, along with your skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, will be key to delivering top-tier e-commerce solutions. You will collaborate closely with our design and development teams to ensure that every project meets the highest standards of functionality, performance, and design.

Location: Remote 

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 DOE 

Role description: 

  • Develop, customise, and optimise Shopify Plus stores to meet client requirements.

  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Implement and customise Shopify Plus features, including advanced scripting and integrations.

  • Work closely with designers to translate design mockups into fully functional Shopify Plus stores.

  • Optimise site performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user experiences.

  • Integrate third-party applications and APIs to extend the functionality of Shopify Plus stores.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless site operation.

  • Stay updated with the latest Shopify Plus features, best practices, and e-commerce trends.

  • Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for existing Shopify Plus stores.

Skills / Qualifications required: 

  • Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a focus on Shopify Plus projects working within Agencies. 

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • In-depth knowledge of Liquid, Shopify’s templating language.

  • Experience with Shopify Plus features, including scripting, automation, and integrations.

  • Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.

  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing your time and tasks effectively.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
